Career development

As most of us will spend a large part of our life working, it’s important that we plan our careers to get the most enjoyment in whatever job we choose. Fremantle Ports supports its employees to develop in their job and manage their career.

Flexible working arrangements

Employees have different family, community and social responsibilities and obligations. We provide a certain amount of flexibility in regard to hours and leave arrangements, depending on operational needs.

Fremantle Ports operates at three locations: Fremantle Inner Harbour, Kwinana Bulk Terminal and Kwinana Bulk Jetty. The Fremantle Administration Building is only a short walk to cafés, shops and banks in the Fremantle central business district and Fishing Boat Harbour.

The Administration Building is close to the Fremantle train station and bus terminal, adjacent to a bike path and the two free CAT buses stop close to the building.

Reward and recognition

We recognise our people in a number of ways, with the aim of encouraging innovation and creativity and creating an environment where all of us can feel valued and recognised for our contribution to Fremantle Ports’ success.
