Round House Tunnel

The tunnel under the Round House was commenced in August 1837, under the direction of Henry Reveley. The tunnel was built to connect the Bathers Bay Jetty to High Street.

The Round House was the Swan River Colony's first gaol and Fremantle's oldest surviving building, completed in 1831.
