Three large passenger ships berthed simultaneously in the Port of Fremantle on Wednesday 13 December 1972. They were the "Galileo", the "Australis" and the "Oronsay". This occasion was notable, as declining passenger ship activity in the Port had made such simultaneous berthing most unusual.
