Victoria Quay Section One
A memorial statue honouring the designer of the Inner Harbour, Irish-born engineer Charles Yelverton O'Connor, stands at the entrance to Fremantle Ports' administration building on Victoria Quay.

The achievements of C.Y. O'Connor are acknowledged in the new Western Australian Maritime Museum at Forrest Landing. The museum showcases Western Australia's rich maritime heritage and is a major part of the redevelopment of the western end of Victoria Quay.

Victoria Quay has a diverse range of facilities and attractions including the Fremantle Passenger Terminal for cruise ships, "E" Shed markets, the O'Connor Landing ferry terminal servicing commuters and holiday makers to Rottnest Island, and a maritime college. These facilities and associated activities co-exist with the Ports' operational areas where motor vehicle imports, scrap metal exports and naval visits are performed.
