Fremantle Ports gained ISO 14001 certification for its environmental management system in 2001 and has retained this certification since then.
Fremantle Ports is certified for international standards in Safety, Environment and Quality (standards AS/NZS 4801:2001, ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 9001:2008).
The most recent three-yearly audit of its management systems was undertaken in May 2010 by senior auditors from SAI Global.
The audit covered each of Fremantle Ports’ sites. The auditors noted that the organisation had continued to maintain and improve the three management systems at all levels of the organisation in accordance with the requirements of the international standards.
