Fremantle Ports has adopted planning policies for the eastern end of Victoria Quay and most of North Quay.

These policies, which were open to public comment earlier this year,  are the first in a series proposed by Fremantle Ports.  They were developed to clarify the purpose of each area by defining land use and ensuring any development in the areas contributed to the long-term sustainability of the working port.

Each of the policies works in conjunction with existing relevant legislation and policies. Developments in both areas will be guided by the policies.
