Native ARC is a native animal rehabilitation centre and education facility in Hope Road, Bibra Lake.

Fremantle Ports has provided some support for Native ARC and is looking to provide more. Some Fremantle Ports staff visited the centre this week to see its progress.

Native ARC is a not-for-profit organisation founded by Karen Pryce-Howells. Annually, volunteers at Native ARC care for about 4,000 injured and sick animals. It is the only rehabilitation centre of its type in the south metropolitan region. The centre specialises in native sea and water birds brought from all over WA and also undertakes the rescue of animals in distress. Native ARC provides information to veterinary students from Murdoch University about the handling, treatment and care of injured orphaned native wildlife. School groups also visit the centre.
