The equal-biggest* cruise liner to visit Fremantle, the Sun Princess, arrives 8am on Thursday 22 November.
The
Sun Princess will arrive at 8am Thursday 22 November and is scheduled to depart at 11pm Friday 23 November. The ship stands 49.4 metres (about 20 storeys), is 1.7 times the size of the
Titanic, equivalent in tonnage to 200 jumbo jets, carries 1950 passengers and is 261 metres long (83 metres longer than Subiaco Oval). When the ship visited Sydney recently, it cleared the Harbour Bridge's road deck with just 2.5 metres to spare.
The Sun Princess's arrival will be spectacular, with arrival and berthing taking place between 8am and 9am. The ship will be berthed at the Fremantle Passenger Terminal.
*The Sun Princess is about the same tonnage as the Sea Princess, which visited Fremantle as the Adonia four years ago.
