The Port of Fremantle suspended shipping movements at 11pm Sunday 28 June until further notice.

Harbour Master Captain Allan Gray said the situation would be reviewed this morning at 10am (Monday 29 June).

Captain Gray said shipping movements at the port at Fremantle and Kwinana were suspended due to winds gusting up to 120 kph with a big swell.

North Mole and South Mole are closed to the public until further notice.

This morning, four ships are berthed in the Inner Harbour, three ships in the Outer Harbour and one in Gage Roads.

Yesterday, Captain Gray requested other ships in Gage Roads to move further off the coast to ride out the severe weather.

Trucking receivals and deliveries are still occuring at the port.
