Safety managers from all WA ports visited Fremantle for a forum to strengthen networking and information exchange on best practice and port-specific occupational safety and health programs.
The forum was the first of a series of such meetings arranged by the Western Australian Port Authorities Association, each on a different topic and each hosted by a different port.
Fremantle Ports’ Manager Business Improvement and Safety Raymond Roose was team leader and facilitator for the Safety Forum.
“The forum was very successful for the exchange of information and ideas, and met the aim of encouraging best practice and enhancing relevant expertise across WA ports, and strengthening networking and dialogue,” he said.
