A life-size rubbing of a cruise ship gangway features in an art exhibition.
The gangway rubbing print is on the SPAN banner at Fremantle Arts Centre.
A full-scale rubbing of one of the gangways at the Fremantle Passenger Terminal is a feature artwork at an exhibition currently at the Fremantle Arts Centre.
Artist Susanna Castleden approached Fremantle Ports early last year about access to a gangway, having previously completed a similar artwork of a rubbing of an aircraft wing in the United States. (This work is also in the exhibition.)
Fremantle Ports provided Susanna with access to the gangway during March last year.

The gangway print, more than 15 metres long and three metres high, is part of the SPAN exhibition, presented by the Perth International Arts Festival and Fremantle Arts Centre.
The exhibition has work by five artists. Entrance to SPAN (4 February - 26 March) is free.
