The Government's Freight Network Review identified Fremantle Inner Harbour as an important centre for heavy vehicle activity. Much of this activity is associated with the movement of containers through the port. While there is sufficient capacity at the container terminals to handle forecast growth well into the future, concerns were raised about the impacts of associated truck traffic.
