Parking

Disabled parking bays are located at various spots around Victoria Quay. See the parking map for general parking locations.

Ramps and building access

Disabled ramps are available for easy access into E Shed and B Shed, as well as at Fremantle Ports administration building and the Maritime Museum.

Disabled fishing platform

A fishing platform for disabled access is located at North Mole.

Toilets

Disabled toilets are located at B Shed and E Shed on Victoria Quay.

Buses and trains

Public transport buses and trains run from all areas of Perth to the Fremantle Train Station and bus terminal, which is adjacent to Victoria Quay.  See Transperth for information on services.
 

Free Fremantle CAT bus

The Fremantle CAT bus is a free service and runs seven days a week, every 10 minutes! There is a Red CAT (northern route) and a Blue CAT (southern route). The bright orange buses take you to all of the most popular Fremantle destinations. There is a Red CAT bus stop located on Victoria Quay at A Shed and a stop near the corner of Phillimore and Cliff streets for the Blue and Red CATs. The buses are fully accessible, with vehicle-kneeling action at the kerbside, a driver-activated ramp and low floor design for disabled access. Weekdays: 7.30 am–6.30 pm; weekends/public holidays: 10.00 am–6.30 pm. The CAT bus does not run on Good Friday, Christmas Day or Boxing Day and the last bus departs Fremantle Train Station at 6.10 pm each day.

 

Taxis

A taxi service is available for passengers with disabilities. This service operates 24 hours a day and it is recommended that you book 24 hours in advance to avoid delays. Phone: 9333 3377.
