Friends of Fremantle Ports

Expressions of interest

We are seeking expressions of interest from people of all ages who have a strong connection with the Port of Fremantle for our inaugural ‘Friends of Fremantle Ports’ community volunteering program.

Building further on our highly successful activation, education and Maritime Day initiatives, we need your help to give Victoria Quay visitors an opportunity to learn more about Fremantle’s busy working port and its operations.

Perhaps you have worked in the maritime industry or have an interest in Fremantle history, port operations, ships and all things maritime, or are studying in a related area and want to get valuable experience? Or you want to use your event management or public-speaking skills to benefit the community? We have a great in-house training program to help you achieve your personal goals and maximise your contribution to our community. Why not use your skills and knowledge and become part of our team?

We have exciting stories to tell and great programs that allow volunteers to be part of something truly unique and vital to Fremantle.

To register your interest, fill out the online form below, telling us why you would like to become a ‘Friends of Fremantle Ports’ volunteer in about 100 words. Let us know about your special skills and attributes and how you can contribute to our program.

Applications close 5pm Monday 10 August 2020.

Inquiries: Jane Edwards 9430 3373 or 0417 918 727
