Fremantle Ports is supporting two concerts in B Shed in March.

First up is Fremantle Chamber Orchestra at 3pm on Saturday 13 March, featuring flautist Michael Howell playing Mercadante's fantastic Flute Concerto in E Minor with Jen Winley conducting.

FCO coordinator Hans Hug said: "František Xaver Richter’s early classic symphony in G major is a jolly starter and leads to Saverio Mercadante’s fantastic Flute Concerto in E Minor featuring Michael Howell.

"The Mercadante Concerto packs an abundance of sweet melodies, virtuosity and drama all in one.  After the interval, Romanticism abounds with Puccini’s exquisite Crisantemi and the rarely heard Serenade by Mieczysław Karłowicz. The perfect finish is the Divertimento K137 by Mozart brimming with charm and wit."
