Small cruise ship Coral Adventurer, anchored in Fremantle Ports’ waters since Monday, will make its first visit to the Fremantle Inner Harbour on 6 March.

Currently with 34 crew on board, the ship will berth at D Berth, Victoria Quay until 10 March when it will depart with passengers for a 12-night voyage to Broome.

Australian small ship cruise line Coral Expeditions said the ship would be calling on the Houtman Abrolhos group, Ningaloo and Shark Bay, the Murion and Montebello Islands and the Dampier Archipelagos.

Coral Expeditions said the Coral Adventurer voyage from Fremantle to Broome would be the restart of its cruise operations in Western Australia and its 25th year of continuous operations in WA.

Coral Adventurer has capacity for 99 passengers.

The company has the required State and Federal approvals and a COVID-19 plan that has been approved by the authorities.

All 34 crew are Australian and tested negative to COVID-19 in Adelaide prior to departure for Fremantle.

The Australian Government has restricted outbound international travel and cruise ships until 17 June 2021.

At this stage, there are no international cruise ships due at Fremantle until October this year.
